When your pet comes to 111 Vet Clinic for surgery, our team will carry out a thorough assessment to ensure they are fit for anaesthesia and the planned procedure. We'll explain the process, answer any questions, and make sure you feel confident about your pet’s care.

Our surgical facility is fully equipped with advanced anaesthetic monitoring, digital x-ray, in-house diagnostics, and modern surgical capabilities. From routine procedures to more complex soft tissue surgeries, most treatments can be performed onsite with dedicated recovery monitoring and infrared healing cages for post-operative comfort.

Unless we advise otherwise, pets undergoing surgery should usually have no food for several hours beforehand, although access to water may still be allowed. Bring details of any medications your pet is currently taking and let us know about any recent health concerns. If you have questions before arriving, give us a call — we’re happy to help you prepare.

We’ll discuss the recommended procedure, expected outcomes, and estimated costs before surgery takes place. Our team will explain your options clearly and confirm consent before proceeding. If budget is a concern, talk to us — we’ll work with you to find safe, practical pathways for your pet’s care.
