Triage, stabilisation, diagnostics and urgent treatment. We're open every hour of every day, so when something goes wrong we're ready for it.
When you arrive at 111 Vet Clinic with an emergency, our team will immediately assess your pet's condition. Critical cases are triaged first — if your pet is stable, there may be a short wait while we treat life-threatening cases.
Our emergency facility is fully equipped with x-ray, in-house diagnostics and surgical capabilities. We don't refer onsite — most monitoring and infrared healing cages for post-operative recovery.
Triage — urgent cases first, then in order of severity
Stabilise — oxygen, pain relief, IV fluids if required
Assess — full examination and rapid diagnostics
Plan — we'll outline your options and confirm consent before proceeding
Treat — procedures, surgery or admission as needed
Aftercare — discharge instructions and follow-up
Keep your pet warm, quiet and safely restrained during the trip. Bring any medications they're on or know what they've taken. If there's bleeding, apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth. Phone us on the way if you can — we'll prepare for your arrival.
Emergency care can involve rapid assessment and stabilisation. We'll explain priorities, outline costs at each step, and confirm consent before we proceed. If budget is a concern, tell us — we'll help you choose safe, sensible pathways.
