What to expect

When you bring your pet to 111 Vet Clinic for a routine consultation, our team will take the time to understand your concerns and assess your pet’s overall health and wellbeing. Whether it’s a check-up, illness, skin issue, behaviour concern, or ongoing condition, we’ll work with you to provide practical advice and the best care for your pet.

Our clinic is fully equipped with in-house diagnostics, digital x-ray, and treatment capabilities to investigate many issues during your visit. If further testing or treatment is needed, we’ll explain your options and next steps clearly.

Our consultation process

• Discuss — we’ll talk through your concerns, symptoms, and your pet’s recent history

• Examine — a full physical examination to assess your pet’s health and condition

• Assess — diagnostics or testing if required to better understand the issue

• Plan — we’ll explain findings, treatment options, and recommendations

• Treat — medication, treatment, or follow-up care where appropriate

• Support — advice for ongoing care, prevention, and keeping your pet healthy

Before your appointment

If possible, bring any medications your pet is currently taking and make a note of any symptoms, changes in behaviour, appetite, or concerns you’ve noticed. Photos or videos of unusual behaviour or symptoms can also be helpful. If your pet becomes stressed during travel, let us know — we can help make the visit easier.

Routine consultations are designed to help identify concerns early and keep your pet healthy. We’ll explain any recommended tests, treatments, or follow-up care, along with costs, before proceeding. If there are different treatment options available, we’ll help you choose the approach that best suits your pet and circumstances.
